Arrow Jam tips: find a clear path
The trick is to choose the order of your moves. Every arrow tells you where its block wants to go; you need to check whether another block is in the way. These tips follow the browser game's rules, rather than a numbered level walkthrough.
1. Trace the whole lane
Before tapping a right-pointing arrow, follow its row all the way to the right edge. For up and down arrows, check the full column. An empty space beside the arrow does not guarantee that its entire exit is open.
2. Start with outward-facing edge arrows
A block at the edge that points away from the board is a useful place to begin. Once removed, it may open a route for another block. Recheck the same lane after each successful move.
3. Work backward from a blocked arrow
If the arrow you want to remove is blocked, find the block stopping it. Then check what that block needs to leave. Follow the chain until you find a clear exit, and remove the blocks in reverse order.
4. Treat attempts as a reason to slow down
A blocked move costs an attempt. Instead of testing uncertain arrows at random, scan all four edges and look for one move you can verify. When the board changes, check your planned move again.
5. Give yourself room to see
Use the Fullscreen button on the play page. On a phone, the portrait board fits naturally into the screen. The distributor lists this game as mobile-ready.
Common questions
Why will an arrow not move?
Another block may lie farther along its exit path. Follow the complete arrow shape and check the space beyond its head, rather than checking only its nearest neighbor.
What happens when I clear a board?
You complete the puzzle when every arrow has left the board. Follow the game's prompts to continue.
